The Model 624B Video Sensor provides automatic 2x1 balanced stereo-audio-follow-video switching, controlled by Video sync pulses. The 624B detection circuit monitors the loss of composite sync pulses on the primary video input. It automatically switches to the secondary video input upon loss of sync pulses. It remains in this state until the primary video returns, prompting the 624B to switch back to the primary video input. This state of the art configuration allows accurate, clean, dependable switching in unattended locations

625A

The Model 625A RF/IF Sensor provides automatic 2x1 RF/IF switching controlled by the loss of video modulated RF carrier. The 625A’s sense input circuit monitors horizontal sync pulses on the video modulated RF carrier and automatically switches to the secondary input upon a decrease or loss. The relay remains in this with the secondary input connected to the output, until the sync pulses on the video modulated RF carrier return. This causes the primary input to switch back to the output connection. The 625A’s sensing input requires an external bandpass filter and pad for multiple channel feed conditions

A/V Switch - 627A

627A

The Model 627A Stereo Audio/Video Switch module provides 2x1 (AB) balanced stereo audio follow video switching. The 2x1 switch will respond to a contact closure or a transistor switch to ground or a compatible logic level. The control input is buffered to eliminate high output current drive requirements of the controlling device. The 627A can be controlled by Monroe Electronics program timers, remote controls or CATV Cue Tone receivers.

Stereo A/V Switch - R164

R164

The Model R164 Stereo Audio/Video Switch module provides 2x1 (AB) balanced stereo audio follow video or IF/RF switching. The 2x1 switch will respond to a contact closure, a transistor switch to ground or a compatible logic level. The control input is buffered to eliminate high output current drive requirements of the controlling device. The R-164 can be controlled by Monroe Electronics’ program timers, remote controls or CATV Cue Tone receivers.

Stereo A/V and IF/RF Relay Panel - R165A

R165A

The Model R-165A Audio/Video Relay Panel provides four, independent 2 x 1 (A/B) balanced stereo audio follow video relay switches. The switches are controlled by Monroe Electronics’ program timers, remote controls or CATV Cue Tone® receivers via contact closures or logic inputs. Each video relay will also function as a high quality IF/RF 2 X 1 (A/B) switch, with frequency response to 950 MHz. Auxiliary relays 1 & 2 available for GPI or SAP switching.

Audio/Video Switch - R197AV

R232

The R232 starts off with a multiple-input – multiple-output switching matrix featuring dual independent A & B outputs that can select any of the 32 inputs. Since the R232 uses two matrixes, the outputs are non-blocking, so each output is completely independent of the other and can share the same input or any other input. This makes the R232 truly unique for test monitoring as different instruments or monitors can be configured on each output and then look at the same or any other input. Never before has it been this easy to monitor one port and compare it with another port using the same or different test heads. Speed up testing and perform more thorough examination in much less time and with much less equipment. Adding to the suite of R232 features is the 20db of gain from input to output, which is able to pull signals up to valid testing levels without introducing performance errors over the operating band, and to minimize noise it shunts unused inputs and outputs directly in to 75Ω The future of Hybrid Fiber Coax plants requires using even greater bandwidth on the coax side. Services like DOCSIS 3.1 and many others requires ever increasing bandwidth and the R232 is up to the task, operating up to 2GHz – well beyond even the most current standards. Port selection is accomplished via a 10/100 Ethernet control port using a simple browser interface or the exclusive Monroe CrossPoint Control Protocol (MXCP™) making interfacing with automation and test equipment substantially easier over less sophisticated or manual controls. The R232 features the unique side-attached Pocket Power Supply™ to create the densest, most compact 1RU chassis design without resorting to external power blocks and boasts top-notch performance from 5MHz to over 2GHz with 20db of gain making it perfect for large-scale test port management.
